Cristobal del solar wins first Korn ferry event with Bettinardi BB0 Dass armlock putter

In an impressive show of deception, Korn Ferry player and Bettinardi Golf Tour Staffer, Cristobal Del Solar, secured victory at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Ascendant event at TPC Colorado in Berthoud, CO this past Sunday, July 14th.

Heading to the 15th hole, Del Solar was tied for first, and despite having just finished a two-hour weather delay, he managed to take the win by four strokes. His game was on point, but especially on the green. Equipped with his custom Tour Dept. Bettinardi BB0 Armlock putter, he sank a 40-foot downhill putt for eagle on the 15th hole, and he birdied the final hole with an 18-foot putt for the win.

The 30-year-old Chilean-born player, known to many as “Mr. 57” for a record-breaking low score at the PGA’s Mexico Open back in February 2024, managed to break another record by beating the previous largest margin of victory in The Ascendant event by two strokes. Having had five previous top-10 finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour, this marks his first win in 41 KFT starts. To top it all off, with this victory Del Solar earned full PGA Tour status for 2025.
